Hi all Neil here with a guide on how I painted up my Alarith Stoneguard for my growing Lumineth army. This is more of a post for myself to be able to find how I did them in future but if you want to find out the colours I used to do them then that's all below.

To Bring The Dawn: A Lord Regent's Companions
Hi all it's Neil here with another post about my Lumineth tale of five warlords force. This post will be about both month two and three's unit as the month two unit got delayed considerably (I finished it with 3 days left in month 3). These units are 5 Vanari Dawnriders who will be my Lord Regents compaions for my path to glory force and a Scinari Loreseeker, who in the background for my force is the brother of the Lord Regent.

To Bring the Dawn: Recruiting the Core

To Bring the Dawn: Taking the Coin Malleus
Hi all it's Neil here with a post about a new group project that we've just started here at The Cambridge Warlords. This new project is kick started by the release of the new 3rd edition for Age of Sigmar (and by the returning ability to game). It's a tale of four gamers style project so each month we'll be painting up 1-2 boxes/units of miniatures to build up an army and playing games of increasing scope as we paint along together.

Painting Guide: Neil's Lumineth Realmlords; Vanari Warden
Hi all it's Neil here with a post that is going to link with an upcoming series. I've decided to do a new Lumineth force for the imminent version 3 of Age of Sigmar and thought I'd document my painting steps mostly for myself but so that it's out there if anyone wants to copy (I'd be flattered if you did). So here is the finished Vanari Warden to show the steps for this section of my Lumineth Realmlords force.

Xenos on Crusade - Tim's Drukhari Month 2: Emboldened by Bloodshed
- painted a few more kabalite warriors with splinter rifles to get 2 properly equipped squads
- basecoated my Wracks (converted from crypt ghouls with creepy harlequin masks to go with my converted Grotesques, and adding worrying prosthetics)
- magnetised my 6 Talos and laid down the base coat on the first one to join my Crusade
- converted some Sslyth with a covens like flavour from spare parts lying around - these creepy bodyguards have been gifted to Archon Orfeon by his Coven allies, and
- painted up a fair bit of my Haemonculus, Kaizin; and
- finished off some pre-Crusade Drukhari painting, in the form of a Razorwing Jetfighter.

For the Greater Good; Part 2. A Xenos Crusade Update by Medge
This month our Goal was to bring our Crusade forces up to 25 PL (based on the 8th Edition Power Levels). This meant a quiet month for me, with 20 PL already complete after my Commander and Battlesuits from month one. With the extra time I had available I started thinking about my Crusade narrative, and began fleshing out out the backstory for my Commander, O'Ashi, and his Strike Force.

Xenos on Crusade: Tim's Drukhari month 1 - Eager to Flay
We left off last month with the Kabal of the Shattered Lung gathering their allies and poised to set out on their crusade. This month I'm pleased to report good progress on the Kabal and Wych Cult elements, while the Haemonculus Covens sit tight for now, scheming and exulting at their relative strength following the recently revealed and truly baffling points changes across the faction. Here's the main fruits of this month:

Xenos on Crusade: James' Craftworld Eldar - Part 1
Hey there everyone,
Welcome to the first in a series of monthly posts where I'll go about detailing my progress on the latest in our groups series of hobby escapades - a Xenos centred Tale of Five Gamers
That's right! We're back with another Tale and this time it's all about the wonderful Other of the 41st millennium; those pesky, pesky Xenos.
Inspired by the impending release of 9th edition 40k and all the wonderful new rules it will bring we've each committed to collecting a new army of Xenos warriors. In my case, this means restarting an old love the Craftworld Eldar.
We outlined the forces each of us will be bringing to the table in this post, but to summarise we'll be bringing armies from the Craftworlds, Drukhari, Necrons, Tyranids and Tau. Quite a collection if I do say so. Our goal is to each have 50PL ready by the end of August. For June however, the goal was to simply paint at least one unit of our fledgeling collection.
So how did I do?
