Hi all, I will be going to the Winter Assault 2019 tournament run by Rebel Wargaming, which appears to be a new tournament local-ish to me. The event is a single day with 3 games being played, its a 1750 point size for the army with the standard matched play rules from the rulebook and chapter approved, while the missions are custom but appear to be based on the ITC style of mission (the full details are in the pack which can be found in the link above).
To this I will be taking my Ultramarines for their first event outing since the new codex and supplement has been release, and my list is below:

The list clocks in at the full 1750 points and brings 13 CP to the table with a couple of abilities to generate new CP and recover spent CP to give me options throughout the game for stratagems. The core of the list is the 6 units of 5 Intercesssors armed with bolt rifles which can put out a significant amount of anti infantry fire especially when in tactical doctrine with the Ultramarines bonus. For anti-tank I have the Repulsor Executioner, Leviathan and Eliminators who all bring weapons with high strength, good AP and damage that should be enough for me to deal with threats like knights and other Repulsors. For support I have Tigurius who brings very reliable psychic powers to the table with a mix of support and damage options, a Captain and Lieutenant combo bringing those reroll 1s auras for hits and wounds respectively and finally a chaplain with the recitation of focus litany for a +1 to hit for a unit to help deal with pesky modifiers. My hope that these supporting pieces can help my main combat units operate at peak efficiency.
I have most of these units painted currently with just the Captain in phobos armour and both squads of Eliminators left to paint which I am currently painting to be finished in time (but the tournament doesn't enforce fully painted which is nice if I don't meet the deadline). Hopefully I will do ok, I would be happy if I can win a game in the day. I will do an after action report following the event where I can say how I managed to do and how the army work as well as any changes I think would be needed going forward.
