Legio Praesagius: Part 1; Patent Granted

+++ Patent Granted: Legio Presagius +++
+++ Forge World Assigned: Gantz; Konor System; Ultramar; Segmentum Ultima +++
+++ Legio Grade: Primaris +++
+++ All Hail The Machine God And His Omnissiah +++

Hi all, I have started up a Legio Presagius force for Adeptus Titanicus from the Forge World Specialist Games Team.  I've been watching videos about this game on the Warhammer TV twitch channel since it came out and it looks awesome.  I decided to start my force with the staple of the 40k Legios the Reaver Battle Titan but in the Horus Heresy setting they take the second place spot behind the might Warlord.

My Reaver is armed with a Melta Cannon, Volcano Cannon and Turbo Laser Destroyer so in game it is very good at cracking the armour on titans but doesn't have the volume of shots to deal with the void shields so will need support from other titans with these kind of weapons when it comes to my legio's first walk.

The Legio Praesagius colours are white, blue and gold which is very similar to the Ultramarines I've been painting which in the background comes from the close ties with the Legion during the Great Crusade.  To avoid them just being my Ultramarines colours on titan I decided to make the white slightly more prominent than the blue as well as using different steps for the blue and gold to the Ultramarines.  The white is fairly standard celestra grey, ulthuan grey and white scar layers but for the wash over the celestra is drakenhoff nightshade to give it a colder look to the white.  The blue is macragge blue, washed with drakenhoff nightshade then layers with calgar blue to make a lighter blue than I've been using for my Ultramarines.  For the gold, I have gone for doing a base of retributor armour with a wash of reikland fleshshade to make a warm gold colour.

So this is my first titan all ready for a game but in a matched play style game you require a maniple as the minimum requirement so my next addition to the legio will be a pair of warhounds which will give me several maniples that I can now make the minimum requirements for to get me playing, so look out for Part 2 when I'll be able to show you these two scout titans.
